Description
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide growth hormone secretagogue first described in the late 1990s. It acts as an agonist at the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) and incorporates non-natural residues, including 2-naphthylalanine and aminoisobutyric acid, that contribute to its receptor profile and stability.
Early characterisation in swine and rat models reported growth hormone release with little accompanying change in ACTH or cortisol, which is why ipamorelin is often described as a selective secretagogue. Later research has examined its effects on gastrointestinal motility in rodent models of post-operative ileus and on bone parameters in rats. It is frequently paired with GHRH analogues in studies of synergistic pituitary signalling.
Keep lyophilised ipamorelin sealed and cold until use.
Sold strictly as a research chemical for in-vitro and preclinical laboratory work. Not for human consumption or veterinary use.
Supplied as a 10-vial kit of lyophilised powder. Dispatched in 1–2 business days.
