Description
CJC-1295 with DAC combines a modified GHRH (1-29) backbone with a Drug Affinity Complex: a maleimido-functionalised lysine that forms a covalent bond with circulating albumin. The design was developed to extend the residence time of a GHRH-receptor agonist far beyond that of the native hormone.
Pharmacokinetic studies have characterised its substantially prolonged half-life, and animal research has investigated the effect of sustained GHRH-receptor stimulation on growth hormone and IGF-1 levels and on pituitary somatotroph populations. For researchers it offers a useful contrast with short-acting analogues when comparing continuous versus pulsatile receptor activation. The albumin conjugate itself is also of interest in drug-delivery research.
Store the lyophilised peptide sealed and frozen, protected from light.
For laboratory research use only. This product is not a medicine, food or cosmetic and is not for human or veterinary use.
Supplied as a 10-vial kit of lyophilised powder. Dispatched in 1–2 business days.
