Description

Thymogen is the dipeptide L-glutamyl-L-tryptophan, also known as oglufanide. It was identified as an active component of the thymic preparation thymalin and then synthesised for more defined experiments.

Research has investigated its effects on T-cell differentiation, lymphocyte proliferation and cytokine production in vitro and in laboratory animals. It is a reference compound in studies on the activity of very short peptides on the immune system.

For use by qualified researchers in a laboratory setting only. Not intended for human or veterinary use of any kind.

Supplied as a 10-vial kit of lyophilised powder. Dispatched in 1–2 business days.
