Description
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide whose sequence corresponds to a fragment of a protein found in gastric juice. It is one of the most widely cited research peptides in the tissue-repair literature, largely because of its reported stability in in-vitro degradation assays and its activity across several rodent injury models.
Published preclinical work has investigated BPC-157 in models of tendon-to-bone and ligament repair, skeletal muscle injury and gastrointestinal mucosal damage. Mechanistic studies have examined its influence on angiogenesis, nitric oxide signalling, VEGFR2 expression and fibroblast outgrowth and migration in vitro. Many of these findings come from a relatively small number of research groups, and wider replication remains an active area of interest for investigators.
Lyophilised material should be kept sealed, cold and away from light until the point of use in the laboratory.
For laboratory research use only. This product is not a medicine, food or cosmetic and is not for human or veterinary use.
Supplied as a 10-vial kit of lyophilised powder. Dispatched in 1–2 business days.
